A Message from the President

Greetings!

I am incredibly honored to serve as your President for the 2018-2019 year!  EACE has been tremendously rewarding in my growth over the last ten years, both personally and professionally.  As we look ahead to our Annual Conference next year, held for the first time ever in Connecticut, I look forward to the opportunity to reflect on all that we have accomplished this past year and discussing the successes we will build on as we move forward.  Our mission remains the same, and that is to provide you with quality programs and services that will contribute to your personal and professional development.

As we look to continue the success of the organization, my goals this year focus around a few critical initiatives.  First, we will work to increase employer engagement and membership. In doing this, we will continue to provide outstanding programming and networking opportunities, as well as growing our marketing and outreach to ensure that employers within our region are aware of all that EACE has to offer. Second, we will look to enhance our diversity and inclusion initiatives. We have done some excellent work in this area but through our new charters and increased focus, I believe we can continue to expand on this work and further the conversation around diversity and inclusion. Lastly, we will look to continue to streamline our volunteer collaboration to create more efficiency and increase the number of opportunities for our members to network and learn.

EACE has been, and continues to be, extremely successful as an organization due to the dedication, leadership, knowledge and engagement of our members. Whether it is volunteering on a committee, writing a blog post, mentoring a new member, submitting a conference proposal or reaching out to a fellow member to just introduce yourself, EACE is there for you! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to myself or any of our dedicated Board Members or Committee Chairs.

Thank you for continuing your membership or considering a membership with EACE!  Have a great summer!
