Technology Committee

Committee Purpose/Mission 

  • Encourage the use of technology amongst membership and facilitate conversations around technology best practices within career services and campus recruitment.

  • Provide guidance to organization leadership on effective uses of new technology.

  • Manage programs including monthly twitter chats, EACE Professionals Facebook group, technology-related webinars, and quarterly Digital Champion awards.

  • Oversee the EACE Resource Centers.


2 co-chairs, 6-8 committee members selected by co-chairs by August 1

  • One to two members Outcomes & Assessment focused ensuring that we are addressing the needs/assessments of our members

  • Two members diversity and inclusion (D&I) focused ensuring that D&I voices and concerns are heard and considered

  • Committee member solicitation should take place between June 1 and August 1.

  • Co-chairs should make every effort to include at least 1 employer member and 1 new member (joined within the past 2 years) in the committee.

  • Co-chairs are responsible for ensuring volunteers are active members of EACE by checking the directory.
