Site Information

City Year was founded in Boston in 1988, and now serves students in 29 different cities in 21 states! Our AmeriCorps members are 18–25-year-olds who are taking a gap year, exploring a career in education, saving up to continue their education or wanting to learn more about working in a non profit space, and more. During our time together, our recruiters will share information on what it's like to serve as a City Year AmeriCorps member, what our Corps members venture into after service, and ways we partner with various organizations to support students learning more about City Year.
