During this interactive panel, our audience will learn from employers how they attract and retain diverse talent. Join this webinar to learn first-hand from DE&I professionals the strategies and intentional recruiting techniques they use to diversify their workforce. Career staff will be able to use information from this webinar to advise students seeking employers who value and support DE&I. Employer relations staff will be able to use this information to consult employers seeking to improve their DE&I initiatives. Employers can learn best practices to initiate and/or improve their current DE&I program.

Presenters

Kevin Luis Snyder is the Associate Director, Early Career Talent for Bristol Myers Squibb.  Kevin has been with BMS for 3 years and has been supporting the R&D function with early career hiring.  Most recently, Kevin has moved over to support the Finance and Accounting organizations with their Early Career recruitment strategies for the undergraduate Accounting and Finance MBA leadership development programs. 

Additionally, Kevin is passionate about DE&I and has become a leadership team member within the Organization for Latino Achievement, People and Business Resource Group at BMS.  In this role he works with leadership in the organization and key diversity partners to build brand awareness within the Latinx community with a goal to attract more Latinx talent into BMS.

Prior to Bristol Myers Squibb, Kevin has worked in the Early Career talent function for L’Oréal and Johnson & Johnson.   

 

Sujatha Menon Zafar, VP of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, S&P Global

Sujatha Zafar joined IHS Markit, now S&P Global, in June 2020 as the DEI Lead for their Financial Services business. She is currently the VP of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion taking on both enterprise and divisional responsibilities. In her divisional role, Sujatha covers S&P Global Market Intelligence, S&P Dow Jones Indices and their Strategy, M&A and Partnership businesses. In her enterprise role, she works closely with the S&P Global’s Chief Diversity, CR & Foundation officer, to deliver on key firm wide DEI initiatives and commitments that cover the recruitment, retention, development and engagement of their global workforce. Sujatha comes from a background in account management, sales, and business development but most recently in diversity executive search and DEI consulting.

In her previous roles, Sujatha has worked extensively with professional networks, vendors and non-profits to build strategic partnerships for diverse talent sourcing. In her consulting role, she worked with a network of over 100 firms to identify, share and execute DEI best practices cross industry.

Sujatha completed her undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and her DEI certification from Cornell University. She serves on the board of Trans New York, an organization dedicated to bettering the lives of trans people in the tri-state area. She is also a proud member of Chief, a professional network focused on connecting and supporting women executive leaders. Sujatha also continues to stay actively involved with her alma mater Middlebury College, to promote and recruit underrepresented students into finance and tech roles.
