General Questions
What comes with my registration?
Full conference registrants have access to all sessions and events (excluding the Pre-Conference Workshop, which is optional and has a separate fee.) The following food and beverages are also included:
- Monday lunch
- Hors d’oeuvres and 2 drink tickets for the reception
- Tuesday breakfast
- Tuesday awards luncheon
- 2 drink tickets for the Entertainment Night
- Wednesday brunch
- Food and beverages during the breaks
- Snacks in the Hospitality Suite

Where do I pick up my registration materials?
You will need to pick up your name badge along with conference materials when you arrive to the convention center. EACE Annual Conference registration and activities are on the 6th floor. Remember to wear your name badge at all times, as it serves as entry to all conference functions, including social functions. The registration desk will be open during the following hours:
- Monday, June 24: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesday, June 25: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Wednesday, June 26: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM

What do I do if I need to cancel?
All cancellation requests must be emailed to [email protected].
- An 85% refund will be granted when the cancellation request is received 10 business days prior to the scheduled event (by June 10, 2019).
- A 50% refund will be granted if the request is received between 9 and 5 business days prior to the scheduled event (from June 11 to June 17, 2019).
- No refunds will be granted if the request is received fewer than 5 days prior to the scheduled event (after June 17, 2019).
Any cancellation request received fewer than 10 business days prior to a scheduled event (or after the event date has passed) due to an extenuating circumstance may be reviewed by the respective committee chair(s) who in turn will recommend the appropriate refund and action to the Board of Directors.
You may also consider transferring the registration to someone else in your organization. See below for instructions.

Can I transfer my registration if I can no longer attend?
Yes! You may transfer your registration to someone else in your organization. There is no fee for equal transfers. If you are transferring to a non-member, you will be invoiced for the difference in member vs non-member pricing. The request must be made via email to [email protected] and include the following information:
- Name
- Job Title
- Email
- Phone
- First time attending EACE Annual Conference? Y / N
- Any dietary needs / physical accommodations required

I am a member of NACE. Does that mean I receive member pricing for EACE?
No. EACE is independent and autonomous from the national association.

Is there a deadline to book my hotel room at the group rate? Where do I make the reservation?
The deadline to book your hotel room at the discounted group rate of $199 per night (plus taxes/fees) is May 31, 2019. It is highly likely that the group room block will sell out prior to the deadline, therefore, it is recommended to book your room early.

Can I receive the discounted room rate for dates before and/or after the conference?
Yes. The discounted room rate of $199 (plus taxes/fees) is available to EACE attendees from June 21 to June 29, 2019, so consider extending your stay to enjoy some sightseeing! Come early to do some sightseeing! The group rate deadline is May 31, 2019 and is subject to availability.

Does the hotel provide transportation to/from the airport?
No. The Hartford Marriot Downtown does not offer shuttle services to or from Bradley International Airport (BDL) or TF Green Airport (PVD). Bradley International Airport is located 15 miles South and TF Green Airport is located 95 miles NW from the hotel. Although there are no shuttle services available, each airport does provide taxi services and public bus services. Fare starts from $44 USD for taxi and $2 USD for public buses. What are the driving directions to the hotel? What are the parking fees?
The Hartford Marriott Downtown is located at 200 Columbus Blvd, Hartford, CT 06106. Click here for custom driving directions.
Parking fee is from check-in until 6 pm on check-out day. Valet Parking is located behind the hotel at back entrance. Rates are as follows:

How do I get an attendee list?
Approximately one-two weeks prior to the event, you can expect to receive an email entitled "Tips For Your Trip." This email will contain the attendee list including name, organization, city, state and email in PDF format. EACE does not distribute attendee lists in excel format. Attendee lists are not distributed by request.
Additionally, EACE members has access to the attendee list which updates in real-time! If you are a current member AND logged into the website, you can access the attendee list from the EACE19 main menu.

Will I receive a printed conference program?
Due to the popularity of the EACE Annual Conference app, the association does not provide printed copies of the schedule. The interactive schedule, presentation handouts, speaker bios, transportation information and more is easily accessible from your mobile device! If you prefer a printed copy, please print out the schedule to bring with you.

What is the conference attire?
Business casual is suitable for all conference activities. Social functions are casual. It is recommended to dress in layers as meeting rooms can get chilly.

Do I receive continuing education credits for attending?
Many conference sessions may offer credit through SHRM and/or HRCI for attending. Sessions offering credit will be noted on the schedule.

When will break-out session information be available?
If you submitted a session proposal, you can expect to be notified of its acceptance status by the end of February. Session details should be available on the conference schedule webpage by mid-April.

Can I bring my spouse/children?
Although attendees may bring family members to the hotel, only paid registrants wearing conference names badges will be permitted to attend conference events and food/social functions.
