Dear EACE Community -

The Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE) stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has already resulted in hundreds of lives lost and uprooted hundreds of thousands of innocent Ukrainians from their homes. Members of our EACE family have been impacted in numerous ways – students on campus from both Ukraine and Russia and those studying abroad in the Eastern European region, colleagues in our multinational organizations and family/friends living and working in the Ukraine, military families supporting their loved ones fighting for freedom and so many more. We will continue to lean on one another in our EACE community for support as we remain hopeful for a peaceful resolution as soon as possible.

As we continue to hope for peace, we would like to highlight the following organizations should you wish to assist in helping alleviate a growing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine:

UNICEF
UNICEF is supporting health, nutrition, safe drinking water, sanitation and protection for children and families caught in the conflict in Ukraine.

UN Refugee Agency
The international organization is providing emergency assistance to families in Ukraine, including cash assistance and opportunities for resettlement.

Médecins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders
MSF runs a range of activities in Ukraine working with local volunteers, organizations, health care professionals and authorities to help people travel to health care facilities and access prescribed medications.

Best regards,

Jill Milon
