Leadership Empowerment Series Part 2: Half Day Program

Friday, March 11, 2022 | 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM ET

This half-day interactive program will consist of several sessions focusing on different aspects of leadership. Topics include:

  • Using Persuasion and Advocacy to Advance Initiatives
  • Understanding the Political Landscape
  • Inclusive Leadership and Supervision

The sessions will be followed by 30-minute one-on-one meetings with our featured panelists to allow attendees an opportunity to "ask the experts" some of their most pressing leadership questions.If you missed Part One of the series, watch the recording now.

Dr. Marianna Savoca, Assistant Vice President, Stony Brook University
Marianna holds several professional roles including that of a servant leader, educator, connector, researcher, author, counselor, mentor, consultant, public speaker, voice talent, and even scuba diver - just for fun! She is the President of the National Society for Experiential Education. Her research agenda includes experiential education, student employment, high-impact practices, career development, first-generation college student success, and STEM diversity in engineering. Her specialties include leadership, staff development, external relations, career development, experiential education, internships, training & professional development, public speaking, and voice work.
