Leadership Empowerment Series Part 2: Half Day Program

This half-day interactive program will consist of several sessions focusing on different aspects of leadership. Topics include:

• Using Persuasion and Advocacy to Advance Initiatives
• Understanding the Political Landscape
• Inclusive Leadership and Supervision

Dr. Marianna Savoca, Assistant Vice President, Stony Brook University
Marianna holds several professional roles including that of a servant leader, educator, connector, researcher, author, counselor, mentor, consultant, public speaker, voice talent, and even scuba diver - just for fun! She is the President of the National Society for Experiential Education. Her research agenda includes experiential education, student employment, high-impact practices, career development, first-generation college student success, and STEM diversity in engineering.
