EACE21 Updates

For more than 20 years, the EACE Annual Conference has been the region's premier professional development and networking event. Over the years, we have brought together thousands of college/university career services and HR/recruiting professionals for events packed with networking, learning and fun. Although we were hoping to be in person this year, we are still excited for the opportunity to gather virtually in June 2021.

Last year's EACE20 Virtual Conference opened up new doors for our industry. We were able to bring together close to 700 attendees not just from the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, but from coast to coast! This year, we are delivering you an even better virtual experience by offering more opportunities for networking and learning, all from the comfort of your own home! Attendees can look forward to an array of quality programming, dynamic keynote speakers and a virtual expo hall to learn more about the products/services that can help your organization succeed in this changing environment. 

The Annual Conference Committee is working diligently behind the scenes to solidify these details and will be unveiling more plans in the next few weeks! Check this page often for the most up-to-date information.

When will the dates for the EACE21 Virtual Conference in June 2021 be announced?

EACE Leadership is currently working on solidifying dates in June to hold the EACE21 Annual Conference. As soon as those dates are finalized, we will post the information here.

Will there be a cost to attend the EACE21 Virtual Conference?

Yes, there will be a cost to attend the EACE21 Virtual Conference. More information, including attendee and exhibitor registration rates, will be announced soon!

Will there be sponsorship and/or exhibitor opportunities available for the EACE21 Virtual Conference?

Yes! Virtual conferences offer a wide variety of opportunities to promote your organization and reach hundreds of more conference attendees. New sponsorship opportunities for the virtual conference are currently being developed. Check back soon for more information. Questions regarding sponsorship and exhibitors can be directed to the EACE21 Exhibitors & Sponsors Co-Chairs.

I submitted a session proposal for EACE21. Will someone contact me regarding my session proposal?

If you submitted a program proposal, your submission will be considered for our virtual event, and you will be contacted by the EACE21 Programming Co-Chairs regarding your status in the next few weeks. 

I already registered for EACE21. Will I have the option to be refunded or cancel my registration?

If you are a current registrant, exhibitor or sponsor, you will receive a separate message within the next two weeks which includes details about receiving a credit for the virtual conference registration or refund options. 

I already made my hotel reservation at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa. Do I need to cancel it myself?

The hotel will automatically cancel any reservations made within the EACE21 room block, and you will receive a cancellation confirmation via email within the next two weeks. 

A Message from the EACE Board of Directors

The below message was distributed on February 5, 2021.

At the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE), we are committed to continuing to prioritize your health, safety and wellness. In light of the continued challenges and uncertainty brought on by the pandemic, the EACE Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel the August in-person 2021 Annual Conference at the Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ and is currently in the process of transitioning to a virtual event to be held in June 2021. 

This was not an easy decision to make, but we feel it is the right one. Our mission remains to foster relationships between colleges and employers to develop the future workforce, and our goal is to continue to plan for a premier professional development and networking event virtually. EACE Headquarters and volunteer leadership are working together to solidify details and will be sending out further information soon.

If you are a current registrant, exhibitor or sponsor, you will receive a separate message within the next two weeks which includes details about receiving a credit for the virtual conference registration or refund options. If you submitted a program proposal, your submission will be considered for our virtual event, and you will be contacted by the committee regarding your status in the coming weeks. The hotel will automatically cancel any reservations made within the EACE21 room block, and you will receive a cancellation confirmation via email within the next two weeks.
