EACE 20 Community Service

EACE gives back to the community! Each year, the Association contributes to a charity local to the home of our Annual Conference.

The 2020 Community Service Committee is excited to be coordinating this effort through the New Pathways program within a non-profit organization in the Baltimore area, Pressley Ridge. Each year, Pressley Ridge helps 10,000 children and families through their community-based mental health services, foster care and adoption, specialized education and new services for transition-age youth. They offer more than 70 programs with a goal of establishing stable, healthy families and life-long connections that results in a successful, happy life.

Dedicate

Dedicate some time during the conference. The Community Service Committee is looking for a limited number of volunteers to assist with mock interviews, resumé reviews, networking practice and job search strategies. There will be various stations set up around the room for the young adults to rotate through to ensure they receive a full range of support during the time frame. This volunteer project will take place at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront (room TBD) on August 5, 2020 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. Employer representatives are encouraged to take part in this project.  Registration is required and can be added to your EACE20 registration form while space is available. If you’ve already registered and want to add on this service project, please contact [email protected]
