a message from the president
I am honored to serve as your President for the 2016-2017 year. As we look ahead to the upcoming year, which will culminate next June with our annual conference in beautiful Niagara Falls, NY, the overarching vision for EACE is still the same: to provide you with quality programs and services that will contribute to your professional development.
As we look to build upon the success of the previous year, my goals will revolve around three key target areas: employer engagement, mentorship, and research. First, we will look to combine the introduction of innovative programs and services specifically catered to employers, with the continuation of a comprehensive marketing plan focused on attracting more employers to EACE. Next, while EACE has always served as a fertile networking ground for its members, we want to expand on this by providing lasting mentorship relationships between our more seasoned members and our newer professionals. Finally, we will look to complement the terrific industry and trends data that NACE provides, by establishing EACE as a region-specific research hub for our members. All of this will be accomplished within the framework of being proactive with respect to the implementation of innovative programs and services.
In closing, at the heartbeat of what drives EACE, is the vast number of opportunities for members to get involved and take ownership of moving the organization forward. Whether you volunteer for service on a committee, serve on a task force, or submit a conference presentation proposal, EACE’s success is predicated on you getting involved. The efforts of our volunteers has always been and will continue to be the cornerstone of what makes us the leading professional association for recruitment and career services professionals in our region…so get involved today! If you are not sure where to begin, please feel free contact me directly at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for continuing your membership or considering a membership with EACE. Best wishes for a fantastic summer and successful year ahead!
