Director of Career Development, Experiential Education and Employment Services Gannon University, a Catholic Diocesan university dedicated to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service, invites applications for the position of Director of Career Development, Experiential Education and Employment Services. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of developing, managing and enhancing the department including establishing its mission and articulating a vision that meets the University’s strategic plan initiatives. This position works collaboratively with staff, faculty and the community to provide excellent service and implement a career development service system that supports students, alumni and employers. Reporting to the Associate Provost, the position requires combining the roles of visionary, administrator, advisor and marketer with the ability to articulate, execute and assess compelling programs for career development. The Director will be expected to cultivate relationships with undergraduate and graduate students, student organizations, staff offices, academic departments, alumnae/alumni and the community. Qualifications include a master’s degree in Counseling, Student Personnel Services or a related field and five years of progressive administrative experience in Career Development, employment/internship placement and recruiting in the higher education environment. NBCC or career development certifications are preferred. Strong Interest Inventory certification preferred. Must be able to support and promote the University’s Mission.
