What are your ideas/goals for this position?

Once being elected as the President of EACE I will continue the significant and amazing work that our prior leaders have engaged all of us in. As an employer member, I have seen so much fantastic traction over the last few years. I am proud to be a part of the success that EACE has seen up through this point. I am even more excited to step up and drive that success more by engaging our employer members even further.


By taking on this unique role as President, I will bring the energy and dedication to not only increase our employer membership, but also create the exceptional dialogue between all of our college and employer members. We have wonderful resources that make an impact for our college members. I want to continue these, while at the same time increasing the current impact we have with our employer members. I want to increase the education and development offered. I want our employer members to be more connected, educated, engaged and involved and I am excited to lead this charge!


Director, Membership Recruitment & Retention:

What are your ideas/goals for this position?

I would develop ways to increase employer engagement and provide services that keep the employer in mind within the organization, including but not limited developing an employer relations and recruitment knowledge group through social media and continuing to replicate employer-only events. Employers see a value in engaging with students directly. I would like to explore new ways to facilitate these connections as well as evaluate existing programs. 


Director, Employer Member Services:

​What are your ideas/goals for this position?

​As Director, Employer Member Services I hope to continue the success of the Road Trips to the Real World Program. This would include continuing to increase exposure of the program for college members while encouraging the participation of more employer members. I hope to successfully serve the employer members as a voice on the Board of Directors to ensure that their needs are being met and opinion is heard. I see significant value as an employer member of EACE and I hope to help other employer members, and prospective members understand all the benefits EACE has to offer.


Director, Professional Development:
Samantha Camoni Hof

What are your ideas/goals for this position?
I'd like to see us begin to offer online networking forums or events using social collaboration software. I think meeting in person offers a rich experience for networking but I realize that not everyone is able to attend. I'd like to see us provide more opportunities to connect the membership in a virtual capacity. Additionally, I think it would be interesting to begin to offer virtual short courses to help members become experts in certain skill areas. There is a growing trend for receiving badges to recognize skills and achievement and use them on resumes and LinkedIn profiles to demonstrate professional development and marketability. EACE could be a trend setter in this area and also help our members articulate the development they have achieved through our content offerings.


Director, Technology & Information Management:
Patrick Young

Assistant Director, Employer Relations
New Jersey Institute of Technology

What are your ideas/goals for this position?

As Director, Technology & Information Management, I will analyze the current technology usage throughout our organization and explore new options to maximize the efficiency of our operations and communication. I look forward to collaborating with fellow board members and committee chairs in order to ensure that technology is deployed to support our signature programs, further the mission of EACE overall, and communicate effectively with members and other constituents. As professionals in career services and college recruiting, it is crucial to stay current on technology trends and tools that allow us to better reach or serve students. In this role, I also hope to create additional opportunities for the sharing of best practices and creative uses of technology in our field. I look forward to serving EACE further in this Board role.
