EACE Engineering Interest Network Luncheon & Meeting
at Columbia University.
The EIN group held a luncheon on 5 November, 2004 during Columbia
University's Career Fair. The attendees present discussed best
practices and ideas, and also addressed ways to foster relationships
between employers and career service offices on campus. The
members met over lunch, to propose future events for 2005 and
also to continue dialogue pertaining to our EIN goals and practices.
Representatives covered topics ranging from student apathy,
resources, space limitations and facilities, to public relations,
funding, and other pertinent Network issues. Future EIN Roundtable
meetings are planned for 2005, to be held in Mid-Atlantic, Northeast,
and other convenient locations for our members.
