Creative Careers Network
Do you work with artists, performers and other creative students?
These students pose some unique challenges, and many of the traditional
services we offer do not speak to this population. Therefore,
the Creative Careers Network has been created to offer a forum
for us to connect and share helpful information.

Directory
of Arts Related Resources. - Updated July 07.
2007- 08 Network Goals
1. Update and reprint the Directory of Arts Related Resources
–
In Progress
A comprehensive list of arts-related books, journals, websites
and other useful resources was first compiled in 2001-02. The
list will be updated during 2007-08 and reprinted for distribution
to Creative Careers Network members as well as other EACE members
at the annual conference. The publication will also be available
in PDF format and accessible from the EACE website.
2. Provide at least one arts-related article or case study with
the Network members each month via the Network listserv –
In Progress
Throughout the year, vast numbers of students in arts-related
disciplines struggle to find meaningful internship experiences
and identify successful job search strategies within their respective
career interest areas. As students connect with career practitioners
for assistance and guidance, practitioners rely on each other
for resources and advice. By posting articles and case studies
relevant to arts related careers on the listserv, career practitioners
will begin to realize a network of peer support as they assist
their individual student populations.
3. Submit one news worthy article per month to EACE E-News –
In Progress
Communication between the Creative Careers Network and all members
of EACE is vitally important in order to share relevant information
with the EACE general membership on current trends within creative
career interest areas. The EACE E-News will be the mechanism by
which the Network uses to communicate current information to the
general EACE membership. |
