Spring is just around the corner!
Where has the time gone? The Annual Conference is fast approaching.
If you have not yet registered, we are all looking forward to
seeing you in Providence, RI June 18-20, 2008. Take a few moments
to register for the conference, and while you are doing that,
think about the many benefits of being a member of EACE.
Membership in EACE has many benefits. Since I am preaching to
the choir, I will not list them all. What I will do is ask each
of you to think about how being a member of EACE has benefited
you, how you have grown professionally, and how your professional
network has been expanded. Now I am asking for your help with
spreading the good news to your college and employer colleagues.
Be an ambassador for EACE. Ask them to join an organization that
is moving forward, developing opportunities for members to share
and learn about best practices in recruiting. The strength of
our organization is in its members. Call a friend at another school
that may not be a member and suggest they join. Personally invite
your employers who are recruiting on campus and/or attending career
fairs to join EACE. We need members who are shaping the world
of recruiting, and you know who they are!
