Philly and environs offer many options for those intrepid explorers wishing to venture beyond the hotel, and several excursions are planned for those so inclined. For active 'aliens,' the Adam's Mark features a state-of-the-art health club and both indoor and outdoor pools.

Sunday's pre-conference events include a number of trips to far-out places. Visit Atlantic City, the number one day tripping destination in the world. Jump into a tube with Bucks County River Country, known as the 'world's river tubing capital,' or journey back in history, as American Trolley Tours takes you through the Colonial-era streets of Old Philadelphia. After dinner, be mesmerized by Hypnotist Tom Deluca, or if you wish, ship out to Manayunk or Player's Sports Bar for some drinks or snacks.

The choice is yours Monday evening. Buses will be available for transportation for this 'night out on your own' dinner. Choose the sophistication of Downtown/Historic Center and Olde City, the Old World styles of South Street, or the chic atmosphere of Manayunk. Reserve a space at a pre-selected restaurant, or choose your own. Casino Night awaits your return for more fun and games, featuring 8 Black Jack Tables, Caribbean Stud Poker, 17 Casino Dealers, 2 Crap Tables, DJ, a Money Wheel, Pit Boss, Red Dog Table, Roulette Table, Fortune Teller and a Magician!

Enjoy dinner and dancing Tuesday evening at the Crystal Ball! Dress in your snappiest space suit, sparkling silver boots, or shiny Buck Rogers pants! Wear a creative costume, make a mask, or bring your own!

* Sunday Pre-Conference:

Trip to Atlantic City: Bus leaves Adam's Mark at 11 AM and then departs AC around 4 PM.

Trip to Bucks County River Country: It will be a 2 hour tubing trip. Bus departs Adam's Mark at 12:30 PM and then leaves Bucks County at 4 PM.

Trolley Tour of Historic Philadelphia: Trolleys will leave Adam's Mark at 1 PM and arrive back at the hotel at 4 PM. We will have two trolleys for this event. Each trolley holds 25 people. There is a limit of 50 people for this event.

** 6 Buses will depart at 5:45 from the Adam's Mark and take alien travellers to either: 1. Manayunk, 2. Center City, or 3. South Street for dinner. 2 Buses will go to each destination. Each bus holds 45 people; 90 people can go to each destination.
