DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD
Honors outstanding and lasting contributions of such magnitude and quality as to merit public recognition and acclaim. This special award, not given every year, honors persons whose leadership, literary or scholarly contributions are of such importance as to draw national or international acclaim.
