EACE AWARDS AND GRANTS

Annually, EACE recognizes the efforts of its members through a series of awards. The following represents a complete list of the awards currently open to members of the organization.

Distinguished Service Award

Honors outstanding and lasting contributions of such magnitude and quality to both EACE and the advancement of the field at large as to merit public recognition and acclaim. This special award, not given every year, honors member(s) whose leadership, literary and/or scholarly contributions have an impact nationally or internationally.


Outstanding Service Award

Awarded to member(s) who have played continuous significant and influential roles in EACE for at least 10 years.


Outstanding Member Award

Awarded to member(s) who have made outstanding contributions through their involvement in EACE for at least 4-9 years.


Outstanding New Member Award

Awarded to member(s) who have outstanding contributions to and involvement in EACE within the first 3 years of membership.


Presidential Citation for Outstanding Volunteers

 

The President presents this citation to members who have provided outstanding service to EACE during this past year.


Tribute Award (formerly Gratitude Award)

Recognizes members who have consistently contributed to EACE through “behind the scenes” leadership and participation on committees, networks, presentations and conferences. The recipients of this award have typically had at least 6 years of involvement within the organization.


Award for Diversity Innovation

Review Award Criteria

Recognizes EACE members deemed to have made outstanding contributions to the field of minority affairs and special populations.


Award for Innovation

Review Award Criteria

Recognizes an innovative existing or proposed system, program, method or procedure related to the common interests of EACE members.


EACE Grant for Research

Proposal Instructions

Assists active members in conducting research related to college recruitment and career development. Nomination Form Not Required. Separate Application and Proposal required. Application and Proposal Procedures are available by following the link above.

Deadline extended to March 15, 2009.

Nomination Procedure

Please review the award criteria and complete one nomination form (and other materials if required) for EACH person you wish to nominate. Submit nomination forms online and mail, e-mail, or fax additional completed materials (if required) to:
